What is the largest file I can upload?
The maximum allowed file size is 100 megabytes for regular users. If you need a larger file size to upload bigger files, you can register a FileBeam account and then upgrade it to a Premium(200mb) or Gold(500mb) account.
Is there limit on how many times my file may be downloaded?
No, there is no limit! Your users can download your files a million times, if they wish!
How long will my files stay hosted here?
Your files will be kept on our servers as long as it is downloaded at least once within 30 days after the upload of the file and it must be downloaded at least once every 90 days. If you do not meet these requirements, the file will be deleted off our servers.
What are acceptable file types?
exe, ipa, zip, rar, gz, tar, tgz, xls, txt, pdf, doc, ppt, wmv, avi, mp3, mpg, mpeg, mov, 7z, png, gif, jpg, jpeg, bmp, rpm, deb, swf, flv, iso

Can I directly link to image files?
Yes, when you upload your image, you will be given a direct link to the image.
I have people posting bad comments on my file. Can I hide comments?
Yes, you must have a registered account and the file must be uploaded into one of your folders. Once your file is placed in the folder, you will have options to hide comments.
Can I "Skin" my folders and files to look like my website? -NEW!
Yes, you must have a registered account and a folder created. Then, upload an image to the folder. Go to "Manage your Folders" and click on the "Set as Folder Header" button beside the image you just uploaded. This will place that image at top of the folder view and every file download page.
When I upload new version or revisions of my file, how can I inform my users? -NEW! *BETA*
First, make sure that you are logged into your account. Then, go to the download page of your "old" file. Next, click "Upload New Version" underneath the name of your file. Next, upload your file as normal and assign it to the appropriate folder. That's it! Now when your user visits the old version, they will get a link to the NEW version!
